Day 1: Arrive Madrid

On your first day, your personal tour host will welcome you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. In the evening, meet your host and traveling companions and enjoy a ‘Tapas’ dinner at a lively Madrid restaurant. Overnight stay at Madrid.

Day 2: Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your day in Madrid with a unique panoramic tour of the city’s highlights including historical monuments and the modern architecture of the city. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore the many treasures of Madrid. You may consider visiting one of the internationally recognized museums along the ‘Golden Art Triangle’. Enjoy the Prado, one of the world’s foremost museums and home to the great European compositions by Goya, Velazquez and El Greco. Stroll the halls of the Reina Sofia Museum and admire modern masterpieces by Picasso and Dali. Overnight stay at Madrid.

Day 3: Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart the city of Madrid for the day in the company of a professional tour guide for a full day tour to Toledo. This medieval town is considered one of the oldest in Europe, as the city of three cultures, where highlights include a visit to the Cathedral and Church of St. Tome for a view of the masterpiece by El Greco. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed lunch before viewing the Damasquinado for a firsthand look at the detailed technique of embedding precious metal into steel. Overnight stay at Madrid.

Day 4: Madrid – Seville

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and you’ll be taken to the rail station to board the AVE train for Seville, Andalucia’s capital. Upon arrival in Seville, your tour escort will meet and take you to your hotel. Overnight stay at Seville.

Day 5: Seville

Breakfast at the hotel .Your day begins with a guided tour of the romantic city of Seville in the company of a very experienced local guide. Highlights include a visit to the Cathedral, considered the world’s largest Gothic edifice. Afterwards, stop for some photos of La Giralda tower before strolling through the narrow lanes of Seville’s delightful Santa Cruz district, a former Jewish Quarter. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the romantic city of Seville. Overnight stay at Seville.

Day 6: Seville – Granada

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed to Granada.Today, your tour begins in the captivating city of Cordoba where you will enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Historic Center. Visit the Aljama 8th Century Mosque combining Islamic, Baroque and Gothic design and internationally recognized as an architectural treasure. Afterwards, continue with a stroll along the former Jewish quarter before continuing to Granada. Tonight experience Spain’s local flavors during a dinner at a memorable restaurant in Granada. Overnight stay at Granada.

Day 7: Granada – Costa del Sol

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out hotel and proceed to Costa del Sol hotel. Today, your day begins with a step back into the rich history of Granada as you visit its main attraction, the fabulous Alhambra Palace, widely regarded as being one of the 10 architectural wonders of the world. Both graceful and mighty, this citadel is laced in stone and is surrounded by gardens and fountains. Your tour includes ample time to walk through the beautiful grounds of Generalife and view the palace of Charles V. Enjoy lunch at a local eatery before continuing to the Costa del Sol hotel. Day 8: Costa del Sol

Breakfast at the hotel. Catch up on postcards, browse the trendy boutiques, stroll along the Mediterranean beaches, try one of the many restaurants, or simply relax and take in your surroundings. You may consider taking an optional tour to the Moroccan city of Tangier, where you can visit the colorful Grand Socco market, enjoy views of the Spanish coastline and take pictures of the sultan’s palace.
